taken near the client's home.

100% silk fabric, silk thread, hand pieced and machine quilted; cotton batting and
cotton sateen for backing fabric
"Nautilus" was named for its resemblance to a nautilus seashell.
This quilt was created using 103 designer neckties (Hermès Paris, 100%
silk) which were donated by the customer.
A special stitch pattern was designed for the quilting, based on the
Hermès Paris logo.

This quilt is currently being displayed at Hermes' corporate office in New
York City.

Various fabrics, machine & hand pieced, machine quilted
Based on the traditional Chinese "100 Wishes" quilt, this was
commissioned as a wedding gift. The bride and groom's family and
friends donated pieces of fabric along with written wishes.
The wishes were included in a scrapbook and were displayed along
with this quilt at the wedding reception.

pieced, hand quilted; cotton batting and cotton flannel back
Twenty-five race T-shirts make the top of this quilt. The customer is
a triathlete and marathon runner.
